Hearing tests will become mandatory in NSW every two years
The implementation of Clause 58 of the NSW WHS Regulation 2017 will be in force from 1 January 2024.
This means businesses that have staff who wear (or should wear) hearing protection must provide audiometric testing (hearing tests) for the worker within 3 months of the worker commencing the work, and at least every 2 years.
