Simon Holt, Director

Simon joined Mobile Screening in 2016 as its new CEO. He is an intuitive and attentive professional, leading business in both the UK and Australia to long-term success. Simon is renowned for putting his customers first, with unwavering energy and enthusiasm.

Ben Wearne, General Manager

Ben joined Mobile Screening in 2017 to drive the next phase of company’s expansion. He is a highly constructive, entrepreneurial and delivery focused leader that has successfully led private business and corporate operations at executive level in government. As the General Manager, Ben is innovation and customer focused, relying on his wide range of skills in strategic planning, financial management, stakeholder engagement, performance reporting, project management and program delivery.

Toby Webb, Chief Technical Officer

Toby has been with Mobile Screening since 2000 and it was his father who founded the business in 1980. Toby leads the Noise Assessment and Drug and Alcohol Divisions has responsibility for the analysis of results and reporting to all clients. He is the principal advisor to the company’s field staff, given his significant experience and depth of knowledge.

Archie Pilcher, Screening Consultant (Victoria)

Archie enlisted in the Australian Defence Force in March 2008, completing his my initial training at Puckapunyal as a member in the Royal Australian Artillery. He was detached to 53 Battery where he supported the School of Artillery in fire exercises and training junior officers and other personnel requiring experience in the field. Archie was then was posted to 4th Field Regiment where I was attached to 107th Field Battery, serving one year on gunline, before being transferred to Operation Support Battery as a radio operator in field headquarters. In 2011, he was transferred to the Combat Training Centre where he coordinated units operating within the Joint Fires and Effects Cell. Archie continued to support these units with their mission readiness exercise training until his discharge in March 2012.

Ian McNeill, Screening Consultant (New South Wales)

Ian enlisted in the Australian Army Reserve in March 2001. After deployment he applied to be a full time soldier and was posted the 1st Battalion Royal Australian Regiment  in August 2006, serving Delta Company 1RAR to Afghanistan in 2007. After completing basic reconnaissance, battalions sniper course and achieving rank of Corporal I, Ian completed selection into the Special Forces for the 4th Battalion RAR (Commando), later to be renamed the 2nd Commando Regiment. With Bravo Commando Coy Group he was were deployed on Domestic Counter terrorism duties (TAG-E) in 2010, 2011-2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 with 3 of those being to Afghanistan. Ian was award Commendation For Gallantry for his actions in 2013 on Operation Slipper with Task force 66 in addition to 8 other military honours and awards.

Mitch Lane, Screening Consultant (Western Australia)

Mitch joined the military in 2005 at the age of 17 and throughout his career in the deserts of Kuwait, jungle of Malaysia and the forests of Germany. He was posted to the 1st Battalion Royal Australian Regiment and was deployed in 2007 and 2009. He completed his service in 2013 as Lance Corporal.

Luke Lorraine, Screening Consultant (South Australia)

Luke enlisted in 2006 when he was 19 after his grandfather, a Vietnam veteran, suggested he consider the Army. After attending Kapooka to complete basic training, Luke moved to Initial Employment Training at the School Of Infantry in Singleton, New South Wales. He was posted to 5/7 Royal Australian Regiment in Darwin 2007, before joining the newly formed 7 Royal Australian Regiment, a mechanised battalion with armoured personnel carriers. Luke was then deployed overseas to Afghanistan in 2008-2009 for 9 months as part of a platoon in the Mentoring Reconstruction Task Force. He returned to Australia with injuries, but was redeployed in 2010 on Special Operations Task Group 13 which was a highlight of his service. Luke was medically discharged in 2012.

Tom Parton, Screening Consultant (ACT and NSW)

Tom has been an audiometric screening consultant with Mobile Screening since 2019. He is also skilled and experienced in graphic design. Tom has recently moved from Melbourne to Canberra and supports the business with its clients in the Australian Capital Territory and regional New South Wales.
